McMaster Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Training Series
24 weeks of Tuesday evening sessions. The end date is June 25, 2024. 1-on-1 Coaching Sessions for required QI Project.
The presentations will only be available if the speaker consents and will be posted once the session concludes.
Attendance is mandatory for all live sessions. If you cannot attend the live session, please advise Carol Stewart.
Target Audience
All healthcare professionals interested in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and pharmacists. Trainees from all healthcare fields, such as residents, nursing students, pharmacy students, etc., are encouraged to apply.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this course, the participant will be able to:
- Describe the fundamental principles of patient safety and quality improvement.
- Use for quality improvement methods and tools in practice improvement.
- Disseminate findings from quality improvement projects through various methods
