PACT – Program for Academic Clinical Teaching (QUEST Club – Intensive)
In this QUEST Club Intensive (compressed time frame), participants will:
- Describe and compare health professions education theories and principles relevant for health professions education;
- Apply key theories and principles in health professions education to diverse clinical teaching contexts;
- Identify and develop clinical teaching approaches tailored to and suitable for intended student learning outcomes;
- Engage with a multidisciplinary and interprofessional community of practice to develop health professions education and clinical teaching competencies.
Registration Fees
$250+ HST for external faculty or practicing professionals outside of McMaster
$50 + HST for faculty within McMaster
$25 + HST for trainees/fellows/students

This QUEST Club Intensive series features asynchronous milestones & learning goals with synchronous meeting times (four 1-hour synchronous meeting times).
This workshop series’ target audience consists of Nursing, Rehabilitation Sciences, Midwifery, Physician Assistants, and Health Professions Educators.

McMaster University, Continuing Professional Development Program (CPD) is fully accredited by the Committee on Accreditation of Continuing Medical Education (CACME) to provide CFPC Mainpro+ and RCPSC Maintenance of Certification (MOC) study credits for Continuing Medical Education.
This activity is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by McMaster University Continuing Professional Development Program.
