Digital technologies, including 3D printing, artificial intelligence, image generation, and genomic analysis, are becoming more prevalent in the teaching of anatomy as tools to enhance learning opportunities. While there are multiple benefits associated with the adoption of such technologies, there are also concerns around how ‘best’ to integrate these platforms in an ethically responsible way. This presentation illuminates contemporary ethical perspectives around human tissue use to inform a responsible approach to the integration of digital technologies into anatomy education.
